EVENT: Volunteering at Kellogg Bird Sanctuary

We'll be sending out a reminder about this for the next few days. We really need to get a rough estimate of how many people want to attend. So, if you know you can go, let us know! (rhyming was planned)

Event: Volunteering at Kellogg Bird Sanctuary in Kalamazoo! The Club will be working with swans, taking down cages and working on some of the other enclosures. This event was a lot of fun last spring and is a great thing to do for the Sanctuary. It's a good volunteer experience to put on your resume as well. If you don't know, Kellogg Bird Sanctuary is part of the Kellogg Biological Station, which is owned by MSU (website). You don't have to have any prior experience and you don't have to be a dues paying member to attend.

When: Saturday, October 2nd from 9-2pm. Lunch will be provided! As with most other events, we will meet in the parking lot of the Natural Resources Building at 7:30am and figure out carpooling from there. We want to get people back in time to go to/watch the football game (3:30).

Please RSVP to this event ASAP if you want to go. The lady at KBS is trying to get a rough head count for projects. We need drivers! If you can drive please include that in your RSVP, along with how many people you can take! RSVP to msufwclub@gmail.com Don't miss out on this great volunteer opportunity!
